Hello Everyone,
It is important to cite our sources, so the reader is provided with an overall understanding of exactly where the information originally came from. Another good reason to cite our sources is that it shows that the sources have been thoroughly and accurately researched, which indicates credibility for the writer, as well.
In high school, a fellow classmate was caught cheating off of my exam paper. Initially, he and I were both kept after class, with a zero for a grade. After explaining to the teacher that I did not agree to let him copy my answers, I was given the grade I rightfully earned. It is very upsetting when such an act of plagiarism happens to you. Generally, there are consequences for plagiarism, such as being expelled from school or terminated from a job.
I am not looking forward to having a hysterectomy at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow morning (April 19), but it is the best thing for me. I will not have the stress that I have been dealing with anymore. I have faith that everything will be just fine. Only good things from here on out. :)

Well, I am a newcomer to this blog thing. I am not quite sure what I am suppose to be writing in my blog, but I will learn as I go. If I am not mistaking, a blog is kind of similar to a journal. I will think of it as a place where I can jot my thoughts down.
I created the title, "Turtle Dee" for my blog because I have collected turtles for 41 years (all of my life). In fact, I have over 350 different turtles from around the world. My sister was in the Air Force for 21 years, so a vast majority of them came from the different places that she was stationed.
I just had a birthday on March 31, 2010, my 41st b-day. Boy oh boy, I am starting to feel a little on the not so young side, even though I have been told many times that I do not look my age.
I do know one thing though, I sure have enjoyed this first year at Kaplan University! It had been 20 years, since I attended college. It is never too late, as I am living proof of that. :)))
I am going to sign off for now, but I will post again this evening.
